While there are elements of our course that be done as e-Learning prior to the classroom activities, you will need to attend a course in person in order to be able to complete the practical CPR assessment. If you need to look at conducting a course via Zoom with a live assessment component, please contact our office for information.
While the First Aid certification doesn’t have an actual expiry date, St John’s Ambulance and Safe Work Australia recommends that first aid skills are renewed every three years, and resuscitation skills are renewed every 12 months. This is in line with the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice and the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

We will email you an electronic copy of your First Aid Certificate on the same day you successfully complete your training and are deemed competent by your instructor. Some evening and weekend courses may be exceptions to this.
To work in any kind of childcare or educational setting, it is recommended that you complete HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting. Click here for more information on that course.
