HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid expands on the material offered in HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, offering training in a variety of of first aid techniques including following DRSABCD, applying bandages and using asthma inhalers alongside performing CPR and using AEDs.
For the online training component of this course, allow yourself around six hours. The practical training with your instructor will go for four hours.
If you are specifically interested in providing first aid to infants and children in your care, whether it’s at home or in an education or childcare setting (where knowledge of first aid is mandatory) First Aid Course Experts offers this course that teaches first aid from a child-centric perspective.
Six hours should be allowed to complete the online module for this course, but many students go through it faster. The duration of the practical session is five hours.
