The cost for the full HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course, with all equipment, training resources and certificates included, is only $97. This also includes access to our online student training portal. The price can be even lower when our daily deals come into play. And our commitment to providing the most competitive prices for First Aid training is so strong that if you find a course we offer advertised somewhere else for a lower price, we’ll beat that price by 10%.

Yes, it does. We can offer a group discount with lower prices per head for group bookings such as workplaces and community organisations. We can even customise the training to be more directly applicable to your industry or the specific focus of your group.

The guidelines of the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) – which First Aid Course Experts follow carefully – require that First Aid training should be refreshed every three years. As such, our certificates are valid for three years from the date you completed your course. The exception to this is CPR training (the HLTAID009 component), which must be completed every 12 months (which is also recommended by the ARC).

The nationally recognised First Aid training certificate you receive upon completing the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course is provided as a digital PDF file – ready to be printed, sent electronically, or stored digitally as you need. The certificate will be emailed to you within 24 hours of successfully completing your course (generally on the same day), and will become available for download from your online student portal at the same time. This means even if something terrible happens to your computer and all your files are lost, your certificates are still easily available.

Yes, you will. Since 2015 in Australia, anyone undertaking formal training has needed a USI, or Unique Student Identifier. It’s now a standard piece of identification, like a tax file number. The good news is that if you don’t already have one, they’re free and super quick and easy to obtain – just head to the USI website at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi to start the process.

In effect, yes. More accurately, HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is the most current standard for professional First Aid training (according to the National Register on Vocational Education and Training – https://training.gov.au/Home/About ). First Aid courses you might find referred to in older documentation – such as HLTAID003 Provide First Aid and Senior First Aid – are all older versions of the same training. Thus HLTAID011 is accepted in almost all situations where one of those older standards is required.

Yes, First Aid Course Experts’ HLTAID011 training is approved by the relevant peak medical bodies in the field, including the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC), the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA), Safe Work Australia, the Epilepsy Foundation, and the National Asthma Council.

We place a high priority on the safety and welfare of our students, meaning that making sure our classes are run in a Covid safe manner is important to us. Our face-to-face training sessions follow all current government regulations regarding masks and PPE, social distancing, and other Covid-safe measures. Please follow all instructions from your trainer regarding this, or you may be asked to leave the training.

It’s worth noting that many venues used by First Aid Course Experts require full Covid-19 vaccination as a condition of entry onto the site. This is not a requirement of First Aid Course Experts but rather a requirement of the venue itself – often in response to government Covid-19 regulations on the subject.

On our course calendar page, you’ll find a range of days and times available for training – including some weekend slots for those not available during standard working hours. Courses normally run from 9am to 2:30pm, although some courses may run at other times – check the course calendar for specifics.

Please make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, as once the session commences, the doors will be closed, and latecomers will be asked to reschedule to another date.
