Yes. You pay less per head for a group booking – so getting all your staff trained at once is often a really good idea. We can even tailor the training for your workplace, and potentially even come to you and run the training on-site.

First Aid Course Experts closely follow the guidelines of the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC), which set out that First Aid courses should be valid for three years from the completion of the training – with the exception of CPR training (HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), which needs to be renewed every 12 months to stay valid.

Your certificates for the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid training are provided to you as a digital PDF file, normally on the same day as your course and almost always within 24 hours. The PDF file – which is provided by email, but can also be downloaded from your online student portal at any time – can be printed whenever you need a physical copy, but can also be stored digitally, and sent electronically whenever you need.

Yes, anyone doing formal training in Australia these days requires a Unique Student Identifier, or USI. Fortunately they cost nothing and they’re surprisingly easy to get – just hop online, visit the USI website at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi to get started.

Yes and no. Senior First Aid is one of many names for the older version of the HLTAID011 training. Other names include HLTAID003, and HLTFA311A Apply first aid. Fortunately, in any context where any of those older standards may have been required, HLTAID011 is now excepted in its place – you don’t need to do several different types of the same First Aid training to be regarded as up-to-date.

Yes, the training is endorsed by the key peak medical bodies in the medical industry, including the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA), Safe Work Australia, the National Asthma Council, the Epilepsy Foundation, and of course, the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC).

First Aid Course Experts carefully follows the current standards and regulations around Covid safety in public – the health and safety of our students is a high priority for our trainers. Please be respectful of this and follow your trainer’s instructions regarding social distancing, PPE (including masks), and other Covid safety measures, or you may be asked to leave the venue.

You should note – First Aid Course Experts does run training sessions at many venues with a mandatory covid vaccination requirement. This is not a requirement of First Aid Course Experts but rather a restriction of the venue itself – who are often, in turn, simply following current government restrictions on the matter. It’s worth checking the covid regulations in effect at your venue (via their website is often easiest) before your training date.

Yes. You’ll find a range of course times and venues to select from on our course calendar, including many out-of-hours options such as weekend sessions. It’s your choice which session you wish to book into.

No, the certificates you receive for the face-to-face and online versions of the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid training are identical, and equally recognised by employers and other official bodies. The format of your training is purely a matter of personal convenience, which has no impact on the standard of training you receive.
