ENROLMENT & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Minimum Age

All students must be at least 16 years old. Students under the age of 18 must also submit a signed Parental Consent Form before starting their course.

Computer & Internet Access

You can only find the required theoretical readings through our online student portal. Students are not given class time for these readings, so they need to be able to access them in their own time.

WRITTEN & VERBAL ENGLISH SKILLS

All of the materials for this study will be in English, so you will need to be able to read, write, and speak English at a reasonable level to complete this course.

BASIC PHYSICAL FITNESS

As part of the practical training activities, students will need to be able to perform simple physical tasks. This is especially important for the manual handling training portion which requires students to prove they can safely move a patient.
